Senior Mobility Core Network Engineer

As a senior level experience you will have hands on Mobility Network devices that ultimately results in the delivery of 4G/LTE, 5G and Next Generation Core for mobility commercial service. You will have to define and understand design parameters through network capacity, latency and development plans; Provides technical enablement for application components and subsystems for application(s). Drive design decisions for development team through Mobile Experience platforms, Databases, Systems Architecture and Engineering, Systems Technical Support, Technical Project Management, and Technology Security focusing on 4G/LTE, 5G and Next Generation Core.

Your Role:

• Define subsystems and their interfaces associated with 4G/LTE and 5G, understand solution and deployment, and communicate requirements for interactions with solution.
• Develop Specific methods of procedure (SMOP) for the successful implementation of new designs, changes or removals into production environments.
• Ensure high level security and peer review practices to minimize human error during implementation.
• Align development teams, work with portfolio stakeholders, solution and enterprise architects to a shared technical direction and partner with them in elaborating requirements.
• Validate technology assumptions, evaluate implementation alternatives to build and launch new EPC Nodes.
• Establish critical Network Feature Requests for 5G to insure partner organizations understand platform needs, participate in the definition of others.
• Assist in the development and deployment needs, participate in project planning, system and solution demos and retrospective workshops.

Location: Slovakia

Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, team members are asked to be working from home.
However, if desired by the employee, working from the office can be arranged. After restrictions will be lifted, employees will be able to choose whether to work from the office with a “flex-work” arrangement (3-5 days in the office per week) or with a “virtual work” arrangement (1-5 days a month in the office), so the position offers a broad flexibility in terms of location – individuals can work from any location within the Slovak Republic.
