MAOT (Most of World – MoW – Access Optimization Team) is an operational team within the Global Delivery and Assurance organization. It is a fully self-contained team encompassing the following functions – Order Entry, Project Management, Scheduling, Provisioning, and Engineering. The role of MAOT is to develop and deliver custom solutions in order to support network optimizations and access infrastructure migrations. The team cooperates closely with international specialists within the company, various external providers, and local customers in the MoW region.

  • Responsible for activation of Service and testing to ensure service has been delivered as part of large scale migrations.
  • Ensure service configuration matches the order and is completed within the committed date.
  • Interface and work with various internal departments and service agents, business partners, PTT’s and third party vendor activities during the implementation phase.
  • Ensure compliance and standards with company and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Support productivity and efficiency initiatives working towards shorter delivery lead times.
  • Maintain and update technical information on various service delivery systems.

Personality requirements and skills

• Capable of working autonomously and thinking laterally to resolve issues
• Hold responsibility for technical issues and understand when an issue requires escalation
• Possess effective communication skills and good interpersonal skills Strong commitment to process and quality improvement
• Self-motivated, proactive and willing to take ownership of issues and drive them to timely and successful resolution
• Perform well under pressure, managing time effectively
• Contribute fully as a team member, resolving conflicts, building appropriate alliances and networks, and helping others to do so

• Higher education, University education
• English language – fluent (speaking, writing)
• A second major world language is an advantage
• Familiarity with implementation and support of routers, MPLS, Frame relay/ATM, TCP/IP is essential.
• Possess a minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience in LAN/WAN technologies.
• Technical background is preferred. Cisco certification to CCNA/CCNP.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
