Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for a DevOps (Hybris Administrator) who will be responsible for the operation of the Linux and SAP Cloud based Hybris environment as well as the relationship with users who provide input and support this environment. The role ensures the day-to-day operations of the environment architecture and operation for the e-commerce websites, e-services, manage technical administration including installation, configuration, administration, monitoring, capacity planning, operational services and integration of enhancements and development efforts that pertain to the environment.
In this role you will get to:
- Install and configure SAP Hybris Commerce
- Maintain/upgrade Hybris environments
- Install and configure of SOLR search application on Linux
- Scale up and deploy of Deployment/QA environments
- Perform ongoing site and store administration and maintenance tasks
- Set up and control Production site security(CloudFlare)
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tracing
- Monitor and tune system performance of Hybris servers
- Analyzing and monitoring Logs and helping team in reviewing error
- Continuous Integration tools management such as Jenkins or equivalent
- Deploy and support high-availability approaches such as failover, load balancing, clustering, and risk-management
Your skills and qualifications
- 4+ years experience installing and configuring SAP Hybris Platform
- Deep understanding of Linux/Unix operating system
- Experience in Cloud management and configuration
- Unix Shell scripting experience is a must (Bash, etc)
- Hands on experience of installation and configuration of Solr search application on Linux
- Experience or knowledge of creating and executing SQL statements
- Experience of configuration Apache, Nginx, Tomcat
- 3+ year minimum of experience of supporting interaction with clients including but not limited to telephony, e-mail and internet chat in English
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Understanding on network technologies
- Familiarity with Source Control tools like Git
- Basic knowledge in containers, management of containerized applications(Docker, Kubernetes)
- Configuration and managing Automation tools like Jenkins
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Strong organizational and task management skills
- Positive attitude and passionate, self-starter, very organized, ability to make decisions quickly
- Customer-focused
- To be able to work some overtime and provide after-hours support as needed
- Ability to work independently as well as in small groups, including customer technical and business employees
