Supply Chain & Logistics Manager

Main mission:
Operational management and development of the supply chain planning and logistics for UPL / Arysta in Slovakia.

Scope:
Countries covered: Slovakia

Position in the organization chart:
• Reports to the Head of Supply Chain CEE
• Manages local customer service and logistics team in country (1 person)
• Works closely with local sales department, marketing & finance as well Regional and Europe Supply Chain Teams (supply/demand/production)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Key activities:
• Contribute to the local S&OP process in Slovakia with right inputs to the process
• Ensure availability of products based on planning & forecasting (challenging sales forecast, preparation of purchase plan)
• Ensure heathy inventory for all products in order to optimize product availability at lowest inventory cost (manages budget for local warehouse)
• Ensuring high level of service level to internal customers by balancing supply and Invenotry
• Responsible for ensuring deliveries to local customers
• Responsible for placing purchase requirements to production and supply teams in Europe and 3rd parties
• Coach and develop people in the customer service and logistics team

Overall goals / Typical measures:
• Taking ownership for, and ensuring the continuous improvement of :

o The Forecasting and planning accuracy
o Inventory levels by reducing SLOBS and extensive Inventory
o On time In Full deliveries to internal customers
o Supporting new company initiatives : SAP implementation
o Supporting integration of the company: portfolio and processes
