Job description, responsibilities and duties
Contributing to development and application of GaN-based power solutions (40V–1200V) across multiple industries
Designing, validating and testing power electronic hardware (prototypes, reference designs, customer solutions)
Analyzing and solving electrical, thermal and reliability challenges
Supporting customers with technical solutions and design-in activities
Collaborating with R&D teams and contributing to architecture and product development
(senior level: leading technical decisions)Preparing technical documentation and demo solutions (evaluation boards, datasheets, application notes)

Requirements for the employee
Minimum education required
Language skills
Driving licence
Personality requirements and skills
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or similar
Experience in power electronics and/or GaN / wide bandgap technologies
Ability to run simulations (Spice, PLECS, Simplis...)
Strong hands-on experience in hardware development, testing and validation
Solid PCB design and debugging skills
Experience with applications such as AC/DC, DC/DC converters, motor drives, AI servers or renewable energy systems
Ability to understand system requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a cross-functional, international environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills
