Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Ensuring the Lean Manufacturing principles will be followed and developed in a production environment
• Enabling plenty of opportunities to influence lean way of manufacturing in a production plant
• Providing Lean Manufacturing knowledge support to the factory management and operatives
• Measuring and analyzing all time manufacturing process flow and defining critical process parameters
• Defining process schemes for all critical parameters, then introducing relevant process control instructions to production
• Being responsible for finding solutions that will increase productivity, inventory waste reduction, safety, profitability and quality using knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing and lean waste elimination practices
• Identifying projects and opportunities by consulting, leading, defining, developing and implementing continuous improvement activities that drive results on continuous improvement projects
• Monitoring the new processes to ensure that they work as intended and preparing and presenting reports that demonstrate the effectiveness of new processes
• Leading value stream mapping exercises to determine and evaluate business improvement areas focusing on flow and elimination of waste
• Continuously seeking out opportunities for improvements and reapply best practises within the manufacturing site
