Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Being responsible for comprehensive logistics management
• Performing conceptual and creative work in the Logistics Department
• Leading department employees, evaluating their activities, setting goals for individual team members
• Planning and managing the use of the department budget
• Maintaining data in the SAP system, entering orders from customers, setting relevant parameters from the customer's point of view (delivery calendar, transport method, packaging)
• Managing material ordering, packaging and transportation
• Organizing deliveries according to the customer's needs, based on order (date, time, variant, packaging), deployment of a technical change
• Monitoring and evaluating deliveries to the customer on a weekly basis and leading an action plan for discrepancies to achieve 100% coverage of customer orders
• Organizing appeals to suppliers and import of material to the plant
• Monitoring stock levels in the SAP system and setting corrective measures if the level is outside the required level
• Ensuring that all quality, delivery and productivity criteria are met
• Controlling correctness of invoicing and processing of customs matters
• Communicating with end customer, with suppliers of materials and services for production
• Having responsibility for compliance with work standards, all occupational health and safety, fire protection and environmental protection rules in the assigned section, for fulfilling logistics goals and for improving processes

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)

Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Personality requirements and skills

• High school, university or full secondary technical education
• Minimally 3-years´ experience in the same or similar position, of which 1 year in a managerial position
• Knowledge of people management (KPM, goals, evaluation, motivation)
• Experience with logistics in a manufacturing plant (automotive industry); knowledge of the logistics flow (customer - planning - production - delivery), logistics indicators and evaluation of their impact on the company's results
• Knowledge of logistics transactions in SAP
• Experience with project management (start-up and run-out of parts, new customers, workplace layout)
• Knowledge of Kanban, MIN-MAX, 5S, TPM, MILKRUN methods
• Overview in the field of truck transport, export and import
• Experience with managing finances in the assigned department (budgeting)
• Active knowledge of English and/or German language
• PC user – MS Office, SAP
• Driving license B
• Organizational and managerial skills
