Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Supporting 8 plants (in Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Morocco) to achieve customer satisfaction by implementing standards, improving processes, and reducing costs of logistics processes
• Managing and developing the logistics processes through continuous improvement (implementation of new tools, sharing of best practices) to improve operational and financial performance
• Being responsible for cross-functional logistics issues related to customers, suppliers, and regulations
• Providing support to the plants in case of operational difficulties
• Supporting plants in the implementation of specific flows (JIS, MAF, Milkrun)
• In case of new plant implementation: ensuring activities of the Logistics Manager and piloting all logistics tasks until resources are nominated
• The job requires frequent travelling - up to 90% of working time

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the automotive logistics in a manufacturing environment
• Good financial acumen - knowledge of business financial basics (investments, cash, SIG)
• Strong knowledge of the specific logistics requirements of automotive customers
• Familiar with transport and logistics regulations, including customs formalities for international deliveries
• Knowledge of MMOG (Global Material Management Operation Guidelines)
• Good understanding of Lean tools in logistics and macro-operation in logistics with SAP
• Active knowledge of English
• Knowledge of German language and/or French language is welcome
