Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Managing material procurement and production planning upon customer requirements / orders / forecasts
• Ensuring optimal material availability for internal production and for spare parts
• Managing suppliers to assure delivery in requested time
• Overseeing operational procurement activities
• Defining and optimizing material and information flow between supplier, customer, third party and plant
• Analyzing root causes of delays and proposing measures to prevent them
• Being the contact person for customers in the assigned area
• Participating in the “end of life” assessment of different components and raw materials
• Leading and motivating the assigned team; evaluating performance and ensuring training of individual team members
• Providing varied analyses upon request and reporting KPIs
• Participating at regular daily meetings with suppliers and also internally

• Secondary school or University education, specialization in Supply Chain Management or other technical specialization is an advantage
• Minimally 3 years´ experience with team management in the area of procurement of direct production material and/or production planning
• Experience with working in SAP
• Fluent knowledge of Slovak language
• Active knowledge of English or German language,
• Ability to lead and manage a team, ensure discipline
• Goal-orientation (work attitude "I can do it!")
• Team player
• Minimally 3 years´ experience with team management in the area of procurement of direct production material and/or production planning
• Experience with working in SAP
