Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Managing product life cycle from the inception to end of its life
• Building product roadmaps, identifying product gaps, competition landscapes, calculating ROI and NPV for new products
• Developing value preposition per customer segment
• Participating actively in standardization groups and forums
• Developing technical papers, actively participating on utility technical community
• Supporting Sales in technical efforts on customer technical approval process
• Training internal and external customers on products and their applications
• Supporting product application and acting as a technical liaison for internal and external customers
• Providing support to Marketing to develop marketing materials - brochures, catalogues, flyers, apps, web tools and others
• Cooperating with Marketing on organization of trade shows & exhibitions

Personality requirements and skills

• University education, degree in Power / Electrical Engineering
• MBA is preferred but not required
• At least 5 years of experience in Power / T&D (Transmission and Distribution) Industry
• Understanding Generation, Transmission and Distribution Utilities set up and operations
• Extrovert
• Comfortable with customer interactions and sales channels
• Strong presentation skills, able to speak in front of auditorium (groups, forums, conference)
• Experience with preparation of technical and commercial documentation
• Ability to collect, analyze and compare data and deliver key information for decision making processes
• Visionary, dedicated and motivated
• Ability to communicate effectively in a verbal and written form
• Ability to deliver results while working independently and to multi task under pressure
• Readiness to collaborate across multi-cultural teams
• Readiness to travel abroad
• Fluent English
• German or any other language is a plus
