Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Having full responsibility for controlling and reporting of sales channel shops in the Czech Republic and Slovakia
• Preparing annual plan and monitoring of its fulfillment, reporting deviations
• Ensuring monthly reporting and forecasting of results
• Preparing in depth analyses, supporting the business, managing master data
• Providing controlling support to the Shops Director and the Shops Department
• Communicating with other departments and the Group Controlling
• Participating at monthly closings
• Evaluating specific activities, identifying possible savings
• Overseeing costs of the entrusted area, identifying deviations and implementing cost savings initiatives
• Identifying potential risks, finding solutions to their elimination
• Cooperating on planning and forecasting
• Preparing calculations for new products for shops
calculations of models for re-negotiation with landlord (rental shop contracts) and calculations of new shops opening or of investments in shop reconstructions

Personality requirements and skills

• University degree in Economics
• Minimum 3 years of experience on a similar position in controlling
• Experience with cost controlling as well as revenue controlling
• Good overview of the company finance management processes and related legislation
• Experience from a sales / retail company is an advantage
• Expert user of MS Excel
• Working knowledge of SAP is welcome
• Active English
• Strong analytical skills
• Precise
• Able to analyze and present numbers
• Self-motivated, able to work independently
• Pragmatic
• Focused on deliverables
