Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Being a part of marketing department in Prague, Czech Republic
• Reporting to the Category Manager responsible for Czech and Slovak market
• Developing company´s product brand strategy, marketing plans in line the International Strategy and CZ/SK business unit objectives
• Driving brand awareness and consequently the brand funnel
• Acting as a strong partner for headquarter team in maximizing value generation for assigned brands via initiation, development and implementation of all elements of the marketing mix, including development of product, packaging, brand and advertising concepts, ATL and BTL advertising, pricing recommendations, promotion activities to appropriate budgetary disciplines.
• Developing local strategy for shops (portfolio strategy in drinks and sweets, communication and promo strategy) to drive shops frequency, acquire young consumers and at the same time ensure profitability
• Implementing customer journey principles in marketing plans
• Conducting media planning and evaluation of the communication results
• Monitoring performance vs. plan, preparing reports, recommending and implementing remedy actions as appropriate
• Establishing and maintaining effective communication lines with all involved internal and external parties: headquarter, local departments, especially sales channels (company shops, free retail offtrade, company´s e-commerce), agencies, local authorities etc in order to achieve marketing objectives.
• Briefing agencies (creative, media) and to supervise subcontractors where appropriate
• Coordinating PR programs in cooperation with PR Manager and PR agency
• Managing budget including budget planning, tracking, control, adjustment and reporting for the assigned brand, ensure necessary document flow
• Identifying trendsetter ideas by researching markets, industries and related events, publications
• Ensuring initiates market research activities, gathers consumer insights and evaluates market potential
• Managing forecast of product sales in company´s shops

development, touching upon: business planning,
budget management, brand positioning, media
planning, market research, campaign
management and measurement, creative
development, evaluate emerging technologies,
trend scouting, consumer targeting
• Having experience in leading and motivating
extended cross functional teams in
implementation of all assigned projects
• Experience in having responsibility for
management of substantial marketing budget
• English language knowledge (written and oral)
