Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Managing the whole department of accountancy
- Team management and leadership
- Responsibility for the fulfilment of the budget
- Active acquisition of new clients
- Proposing of solutions of problems
- Managing complex processing of bookkeeping agenda for client
- Communication with client (also in foreign languages), with the tax authorities and other state institutions
- Checking double entry bookkeeping processing
- Checking accounting outputs data for the client on monthly basis
- Advising to clients
- Providing support to clients with accounting questions
- Bank payment orders preparation
- Preparation of documents for bookkeeping
- Reporting according to the individual client requirements
- Preparation of statistical reports
- Preparation of financial statements
- Preparation of corporate income tax returns
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Responsibility for the accuracy of bookkeeping
- Monitoring of legislative changes related to accounting and tax agenda, their implementation and communication to the client

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards

2000 EUR - 3500 EUR (based on qualifications and experience)

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

Business administration, finance, accounting or related field.

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) or German - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Double-entry bookkeeping - advanced

Driving licence


Number of years of experience


Personality requirements and skills

- A minimum 7 years of working experience in double entry bookkeeping
- A minimum 2 years of successful managerial leadership experience in accounting or financial management
- Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, regulations, laws and practices
- Advanced computer skills an proficiency in MS Office
- Bookkeeping software POHODA or Microsoft Navision knowledge is advantage
- Adequate knowledge of tax law
- Interest in learning and improvement of foreign languages
- High attention to details
- Good communication and managerial skills
- Analytical and logical thinking
- Strong client focus
- Team player
- Good time management skills
- Responsible and enthusiastic
