Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Reporting to Head of Sales
- Consolidating data from purchasing / process / product engineering to provide continuously to the Key Account Managers / Account Managers the best competitive cost calculation sheet to ensure the business development of the company
- Analyzing all RFQ sent by the customers
- Interfacing the customer if any drawing / information is missing in the RFQ
- Challenging the organization (internal – process / product engineering and external - suppliers) to get the best prices with productivities
- Collaborating with purchasing team
- Challenging / analyzing the product vs. what has been quoted in the past (market price analysis)
- Respecting the leadtime / commitments given to the Key Account Managers / Account Managers / customers
- Proposing technical solutions whenever possible to reduce costs
- Collaborating with the engineering team to provide an APQP and team feasibility to the Key Account Managers / Account Managers
- Supporting the purchasing team if necessary during negotiations / drawing reviews with suppliers
