Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Being obliged to carry out work in the scope of work, employment contract, labor code and valid internal regulations, standards and orders of superiors in the person of the General Manager
• Cooperating with the employees of the economic department as well as with the heads of individual departments
• Ensuring cooperation with the financial management of the Cluster Eastern Europe
• Maintaining a complex accounting agenda according to the regulations and laws in force in the Slovak Republic
• Daily processing of different accounting units
• Managing analytical accounts by activity and some key accounts (customers)
• Finalizing the necessary documents for the financial statements
• Finalizing documents for company management
• Cooperating with the external third parties: banks, lawyers, audit firm and tax auditors
• Being responsible of monthly and annual closing and tax returns
• Handling monthly statements and reports resulting from accounting based on monthly financial statements and reports required by group headquarter
• Handling monthly reporting required by the Group
• Ensuring statistical reports, chronologically arranges documents, responsible for their establishment and listing
• Producing weekly spreadsheets with optimal use of AX (accounting software) - list of invoices not paid by customers (Sidetrade, IT tool on credit management), list of vendor invoices for payment, overview of the state of finances on company accounts and at the cash register
• Taking care of company assets
• Having responsibility of the invoicing processes
• Being active participant in the improvement of existing accounting processes
• Collaborating in the preparation of budgets, reforecasts and analyses
• Coordinating the accounting team and the invoicing team
• Cooperating on a daily/weekly basis with company general manager to provide reports and financial/accounting info supporting management decisions and action
• Ensuring cooperation with the Chief Financial Officer of the Cluster Eastern Europe and Payroll Manager of the company
• Extending work in the AX program and other company finance programs
• Making every effort to ensure the proper operation of the Finance department
