Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Definition and realization of the future Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system solutions of a business unit.
• Responsibility of the solution specification together with the project partners for the topics CAD/ PDM interface, document management, material master management, E-BOM management and variant management.
• Defining the target architecture together with system suppliers and other IT disciplines.
• Coordination of an implementation team including external service providers.
• Functional quality assurance, organization of integration tests and trainings as well as system support.
• Responsibility of the solution specification together with the project partners for the topics CAD/ PDM interface, document management, material master management, E-BOM management and variant management.

Personality requirements and skills
• 5+ years of experience in global software implementations or as Solution Architect
• Degree in IT, business informatics, engineering or other technical subjects
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
• Practical experience working in a Regulated Environment
• Prioritize and provide estimates related to development activities
• SAT, UAT and Regression testing related to development and rollout activities
• Experience with PTC Windchill code base and architecture
• Familiarity with PTC ThingWorx Composer, code base and architecture
• Assess and implement Windchill, ThingWorx and Integrity / Windchill RV&S changes based on developmental tasks
• Experience with programmatic interfaces of PTC landscape and relationships between PTC products
• Working knowledge of one or more modern programming and scripting languages: Java, C, C++, Python, etc.
• Working knowledge of development in Linux and Windows operating systems
• Practical experience working with Source Code repositories
• In-depth knowledge in the configuration of PLM system solutions
• Excellent communication and writing skills in English
