Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Developing the IT Architecture of our clients’ solutions to reflect the rapidly changing opportunities in the field of industrial IoT
• Development and maintenance of the clients’ IIoT Platform using Microsoft Azure Components
• Developing thermodynamical and statistical models for lant/ equipment performance monitoring and optimization
• Integration and adaption of numerical analysis methods (e.g., simulation & optimization) to our clients IIoT Platform
• Implementation of new features for the IIoT Platform with strong interaction to the end user
• Responsible for the execution of Software Development Projects
• Responsible for the execution of IIoT development projects over the whole connectivity stack
• Development and maintenance of the clients’ IIoT Platform using Microsoft Azure Components

Arcondis is planning to setup its offices in Košice in Q4 2021 or Q12022 (also depending on the pandemic situation).
Until offices are setup, you can work fully remote from any place in Slovakia. Afterwards, you will be able to work partially from home as part of our benefits package.

• Master’s degree or PhD in natural science, computer science, engineering, or comparable fields
• Very good knowledge in (thermodynamical/ statistical) model development and numerical analysis techniques
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar field of work ideally in the Process Industry Environment
• Very good knowledge in at least two specified programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Python, C#, Java)
• Successful execution of IIoT projects with respect to whole connectivity stack (sensor, edge, device, data collection/ processing/ visualization)
• Experience in (agile) project management in interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and writing skills in English
• Very good knowledge in (thermodynamical/ statistical) model development and numerical analysis techniques
