The salary indicated is a tentative estimation and the final salary will be agreed after an interview, once we will find out more about your experience, skills and personality.

Arcondis is planning to setup its offices in Košice in Q4 2021 or Q12022 (also depending on the pandemic situation). Until offices are setup, you can work fully remote from any place in Slovakia. Afterwards, you will be able to work partially from home as part of our benefits package.

The start date indicated for this position is the earliest possible one. It might shift to beginning of September 2021.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) or German - Advanced (C1)

Number of years of experience

4

Personality requirements and skills

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science,Information Technology or related field
Experience as a database designer/developer in designing stable and effective database systems
Ideally experience in the life science, health or pharmaceutical industry
Good understanding of data, data management, schema standards and concepts
Knowledge in database design, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance
Advanced skills in SQL (Data Definition Language - DDL, Data Manipulation Language - DML, Data Control Language - DCL) and Oracle
Extract, transform, load various data types and sources
Experience in Version Control System (GIT)
Ideally familiarity with CI/CD practices, NoSQL Databases (eg. MongoDB) or Jenkins' technology
Analytical and problem solving skills
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience developing applications in SCRUM
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
