Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Support Engineer is responsible for providing high-quality technical support for our internally developed software solution used for passive telecom network monitoring called Master Claw and resolving Incidents and Problems raised by Customers. In addition the role is responsible to keep a good overview of the customer installed base and ensure projects are handed over to support after acceptance test.

- Have a good overview of the customer's system installation
- Maintain an up-to-date version of system customer info documents
- Join hand over meeting and approve projects to be handover to Support
- Resolving Incidents and Problems both directly from customers and through Technical Escalation
- Using existing skills and knowledge as well as appropriate support resources to find resolution to customer Incidents
- Taking ownership of technical issues, and working with R&D to resolve more advanced issues when necessary
- Documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps
- Answering questions from customers and prospective customers about the features and capabilities of our systems
- Implementing fixes and solutions where appropriate, either via discussing directly with customer, via email, via remote control or onsite
- Analyzing and reporting on call performance and server health checks
- Prepare regular meeting with customer to discuss status tickets and resolution plan
- Proactively contact customers to ensure they are pleased
- Cooperate with the implementation team when extensions are being implemented
- Define and implement customized solutions according to the customer requirement

• 2G-3G-4G-VoIP Networks
• Fluent in English both verbal and written communication
• Good technical knowledge of Vertica is an advantage
