IT System Administrator with focus on IT Security

We are looking for an IT System Administrator with focus on IT Security to join our team to work closely with the stakeholders to ensure that cyber security objectives are met across our organization.
The focus is to mitigated risks which can help provide organizations with more confidence about system security and stability going forward.
Ultimately, you will work to ensure the security of our business information, employee data and client information throughout our entire network.
You will use your skills to solve Vulnerability Tickets created and prioritized by our IT Security Team
You will apply security fixes or installing relevant patches to computers in scope.
You will also work closely together with our application owners to ensure that application vulnerabilities will be reduced to a minimum and that applications work after security fixes has been applied to the system
You shall have an advanced understanding of:
• TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols
• System administration for Windows and Linux
• System affiliated Software like Web Server etc.
• as well on defense-in-depth and common security elements.
• Implement and maintain security controls
• Support application owners to implement application specific security measures
• Solve potential and actual security problems
• Maintain quality service by following organization standards
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
