Job description, responsibilities and duties
Responsibilities:
-Monitors and ensures compliance with local labor laws: monitors local regulations, reviews work contracts, implements status changes
-Ensures accurate and compliant pay (including payroll) and benefits administration
-Ensures accurate HR administration (insurance, benefits, contracts, etc)
-Develops and administers local rewards programs based on corporate compensation philosophy, business objectives, and company programs
-Manages the recruitment processes in partnership with line management
-Manages on-boarding and off-boarding
-Coordinates performance and development management processes
-Designs / Implements Amgen programs, procedures and initiatives to support the local company vision, mission and the strategy
-Manages day-to-day relationship with external suppliers/vendors
-Coaches/Mentors/Supports people leaders in the development of the leadership capabilities
-Facilitates training and development; may teach in-house courses
-Implements and ensures a clear, shared understanding of HR procedures/policies
-Builds and maintains knowledge of Amgen’s products, therapeutic areas, markets, and business-financial model
-Understands key business processes to ensure HR initiatives add value to Amgen’s local and regional business goals
