Job description, responsibilities and duties

Marketing:
• Creating new ideas and development of promotional campaigns of major events – with aim to attract participants, attendants and sponsors
• Creating new ideas for events and new projects connected to events. Development of regular events.
• Participating in marketing-related networking
• Representing AmCham at member company events – obtaining new business contacts

Events Related Agenda:
• Supervising event coordinator and overseeing planning and management of all AmCham events, including Business Breakfasts, Business Cocktails, Executive Business Clubs, Job & Internship Fairs, 4th July – Independence Day Celebration, Thanksgiving Gala Charity Dinner, Seminars and Conferences, Charity Drive, member tours, and other special events.
• Supervising event coordinator and overseeing choosing venues, menus, prepare program and select entertainment, etc. for events.
• Preparation of detailed event agendas, budget projections and event reports for Board meetings
• Communication with suppliers, clients and sponsors
• Evaluation and summarization of all events, general reports and financial outcomes
• Preparation of monthly and yearly calendars
• Preparation and implementation of logistic plans and procedure manuals for events
• Daily office administration

Other:
• Fundraising – obtaining contributions for annual charity drive. Supervising event coordinator and overseeing of obtaining sponsorship for events: searching for potential sponsors and partners - meeting with company representatives - negotiating sponsorships – preparation of complex sponsorship cooperation for individual companies
• Contributing to the preparation of agendas and background materials as is necessary for the Standing Committee meetings
• Co-operation with other associations and external experts
