Tax Analyst - Tax Engine

We are looking for a smart, passionate candidate with experience in finance area to join and support our growing team. Tax Engine team is a part of the Global Tax Calculation Services Program, comprised of tax professionals and software engineers that are responsible for providing end-to-end global transaction tax calculation solutions (sales and use taxes, value-added taxes, good and services taxes, and other consumption taxes) to Amazon and thousands of other merchants selling on Amazon marketplaces and other e-commerce platforms.

About the role

The individual in this role will be assisting with global product classification efforts for tax purposes, ensuring the tax calculation platform complies with both global and domestic tax laws. Part of the responsibilities will be participation on cross-functional projects within Product Classification platform, data analysis and reporting, support of outlining business requirements for system enhancements and E2E process improvements.

Perform product tax classifications and participate in ongoing audit activities

Perform basic product taxability research across a wide range of categories Participate in cross-functional projects

Ensure proper communication flow between Category Leads and team leadership

Participate in team operational excellence programs and process improvements

Base pay for this position starts from EUR 1300 gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements. Company benefits apply subject to further terms, including annual membership in medical clinic, life insurance, retirement pension, meal voucher card.
