Supply Chain/Logistics Support specialist

What is Direct Fulfillment?
Direct Fulfillment (often called Drop Ship) supports the fulfillment of customer orders directly from vendors’ facilities instead of the Amazon Fulfillment Center. This is primarily a Supply Chain Operations / Transportation role but you will get your hands-on communicating and working with other internal technical and business teams.

Key responsibilities include:
· Work with vendors to set and meet milestones and deliverables to deliver high-quality operational performance.
· Track and report operational performance using appropriate metrics. Engage with internal and external customers/teams to define requirements, verify business processes, and deploy agreed process changes.
· Communicate via email and telephone with vendors plus other internal customers to provide first line support on operations questions.
· Maintain Amazon's outbound supply chain quality by enforcing Amazon's Policy Guidelines.

Basic Qualifications:
· Excellent written and spoken English
· Excellent written and spoken German will be considered as an advantage
· Excellent business writing and communication skills
· Ability to communicate complex issues correctly and clearly to both internal and external customers
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and use data analysis to understand the root cause of problems
· Self-disciplined, proactive and detail oriented

Preferred Qualifications:
- Economic background
- Previous analyst experience within Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations
- Great communication skills
- Good analytical skills and ability to connect the dots
