About the program
Pay-on-Receipt is a set of initiatives intended to ensure that Amazon pays vendors accurately and does not pay for product not received. These initiatives included upgrades to our invoice validation software, and on-boarding vendors to a special dispute process whereby vendors receive a higher level of account management to resolve receiving discrepancies. Pay-on-Receipt (POR) is interrelated with Inbound Supply Chain’s initiatives to improve the accuracy of the receipt record as the receipt record forms the basis for much of the payments process.
