Job description, responsibilities and duties

Amazon is looking for energetic and enthusiastic candidates to join the fast paced world of European Financial Operations in Bratislava. We’re not an average retailer and this is definitely not only average finance position. We’ll give you the opportunity to really make a difference to our business by working on and initiating projects in a fast-paced environment and ultimately delivering results.

The main responsibility of the Finance Operations analyst is to efficiently manage payment and receivables related queries received from the Vendors of Amazon France, through pro-active cooperation with both the suppliers and our internal teams.

Your tasks will include but will not be limited to:
· Contact proactively by phone or email the suppliers of Amazon France in order to guide them through our internal processes and ensure accurate processing of their invoices;
· Analyze invoicing discrepancy (quantity/price variances for ex.) and fix issues in cooperation with the suppliers of Amazon France in order to issue on-time payments;
· Reconcile the Vendor Returns and Contra Cogs credit notes received from Amazon France suppliers with the open amounts in our ledger;
· Respond to payment inquiries by phone or email with strong focus on Vendor experience and education;
· Communicate with various internal departments such as Retail teams in France and finance processing teams in order to ensure timely and accurate payments;
· Drive internal process improvements such as accuracy of our payments, Vendor satisfaction, Vendor process education etc.

Requirements for the employee

Required education

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and
French - Upper intermediate (B2)
