We’re seeking an experienced professional to join our dynamic Reverse Logistic Center in SERED, SLOVAKIA. If you are a person who wants to join company with industry leading customer service, peculiar culture and fast paced problem solving environment, then this position is right for you.

As an Operations Manager, you’ll deliver inspiring, supportive leadership for the teams you lead. But at the same time, you don’t shy away from rolling up your sleeves and getting involved whenever necessary.
You’ll be directly responsible for developing a team of Area/Department Managers and their direct reports. As leader of leaders you will report to Senior Operations Manager with both strategic and tactic plans how to deliver your department´s KPIs. The quality of your leadership is key to success in this role: you’ll tactfully motivate and inspire your teams to do their best work, while planning and leading daily operations in the whole center.
Another key aspect of the role is to lead numerous process improvement projects with the aim of streamlining all activities, both for yourself and the team members you lead. Job Description

Your role will be pivotal in the overall management, control, organization and direction of reverse logistics related processes. Your responsibilities will include, amongst others:
· Own and drive Health and Safety standards and culture within your remit area, while leading by example both by being role model and practice accountability.
· Become proficient and diligent on daily routines (EHS audits, labor allocation meetings, deep dive meetings, incident investigations), manage larger-scale processes and activities within the center, such as lean trainings, A3 sponsorship, hiring activities.
· In your inventory control and systems environment, you’ll handle meaningful data collection upon which you streamline workflow in order to achieve zero dwell times.
· Therefore, you’ll aim to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors and ensure an excellent customer experience.
· Partnering closely with other support teams (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety,Security, IT) on staffing plans, schedules, projects and support provided to operations.
· Work in a matrix leadership environment, with direct ownership over a department and cross functional ownership of multiple department while leading the shift, both on days and nights.
· Working with internal and external resources and structures in order to deliver the main KPIs for the Operation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Possess a degree from an accredited institution (Bachelor as minimum)
· Previous experience in leading large, diverse teams,
· You possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· You’re competent in two or more production or supply chain areas, with an impressive track record in a similar, dynamic logistics, distribution or manufacturing environment,
· You possess the ability to organize details, establish and carry out root cause analysis, and then setup and follow a proper action plan
· You are ready to work in 4 day shifts – able to manage a business that can operate 24/7 (including nights). Therefore you should be able and willing to work to flexible schedules/ shifts and commit the time required to get the job done.
· Language skills: Slovak and English (verbal and writing).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Master’s degree and proficiency in English
· Experience with managing fast change environment
· You possess a grasp of Kaizen and Lean methodologies and related techniques.
· You embrace change, and are willing to relocate if necessary.

Base pay for this position starts from EUR 4.200 gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements, there will be further pay components such as a sign on bonus and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Company benefits apply subject to further terms, including annual membership in medical clinic, life insurance, retirement pension, meal voucher card, career development.
