Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
The Head of IT is fully accountable for the execution of transformation, change, delivery and run of IT services towards AZ Technology’s customers. The position holds end-to-end accountability for the delivery & operations of all related Allianz Technology services covering applications and infrastructure along with responsibility for the associated financials. The position is responsible for the integration of the insurance / global line OE'S legacy application services into AZT's global delivery model, delivering the Business Master Platform (BMP) and execution of the GEARSHIFT transformation program in the region/for the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage OE’s IT plan including planning, budgeting, resourcing, in line with AZ Technology processes, being aligned with the OE’s planning cycles; align w EMT functions to ensure OE's supply capabilities for OE service delivery.
- Hold end-to-end accountability for the production support services and its stability towards the customer – steered by the respective Production Manager - encompassing both application and infrastructure.
- Accountable for adoption of shared services, Group target platforms and transformation projects delivery (managed by the region’s Transformation Manager) and thus for the overall delivery of the IT roadmap towards the customer.
- Steer integration & mgmt. of customer legacy systems including driving decommissioning and harmonizing according to the transformation plans; responsible for the replacement of legacy with target Group solutions.
- Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of BMP program (Core Insurance Platform) and execution of GEARSHIFT Transformation program for Application Service transition.
- Manage the region's / OE's account manager, production manager and transformation manager & thus being accountable for all OE customer interactions.
- Manage OE demands & align these demands with IT functions inside AZT & AZ SE H ressorts regarding compliance to AZ Group IT & business governance.
