Continuing Airworthiness Officer

A Continuing Airworthiness Officer is a professional responsible for ensuring that aircraft are maintained in a condition that is safe for operation throughout their service life. This role involves overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, and managing documentation related to the airworthiness of the aircraft.

Responsibilities: 

- Performs recording of Flight Hours/cycles from ATLS.
- Plan and control the execution of all maintenance task in accordance with the Approved Maintenance Program (AMP) including Airworthiness Directives and modifications.
- Creates and processes maintenance documents including maintenance records.
- Ensure that the continuing airworthiness management and the installation of any component are in accordance with the Approved Maintenance Program and the requirements of Part-M.
- Prepares draft of the Maintenance Program and Relibility Program, including their revisions.
- Prepares Reliability Reports and the analysis of the effectiveness of the Approved Maintenance Program (AMP).
- Ensures that each Airworthiness Directive (AD), the operational Airworthiness Directives, the requirements for airworthiness issued by the Agency, and other mandatory requirements for continuing airworthiness management issued by Transport Authority in response to the safety problem are recorded, assessed and implemented.
- Ensures that each applicable Service Bulletin (SB) is recorded, assessed and implemented.
- Controls, maintain and distributes instructions for continuing airworthiness in accordance with this exposition.
- Ensures that the modifications and repairs be carried out in accordance with the approved standards.
- Ensures that retention of maintenance record will be performed in accordance with procedures described in this exposition.
- Work with OEMs/Vendors on technical matters within his/her scope of activities.
- Performs assessment of aircraft equipment in accordance with IOSA MNT.1.9.1. including updates.
- Ensures the monitoring of technical requirements of continuing airworthiness issued by EASA Transport Authority and etc., including the necessary documentation for the implementation of mandatory and optional modifications,
- Under authority of nomination is responsible to provide training of ETOPS procedures related to airworthiness and maintenance department, including preparing and maintain Non-Approved or Restricted ETOPS Parts List.
- Manages the "Maintenance Provider List" in case of a technical support request.
- Has responsibility for continuing airworthiness related to ETOPS operations.
