Job description, responsibilities and duties

The airline AirExplore focuses mainly on providing services in the field of non-scheduled air transport of passengers (charter flights) and lease of aircraft with crew (ACMI). Making the purchase orders based on the requests set by Maintenance Department which are delivered by approved suppliers of aircraft components and materials.


We offer the opportunity to get a job and become a member of our logistics team. The main responsibilities will include:


• Making the materials and services purchase orders based on the requests set by other departments and i.a.w., and upon the instructions and close cooperation with Maintenance Director;
• Take-over only the non-damaged packages of supplies delivered by supplier/freight forwarder into the incoming storage warehouse area;
• Perform an incoming inspection of delivered aircraft components and materials in compliance with AirExplore procedures;
• Releasing only those tools and equipment from the warehouse which are recorded in the list of the tools and equipment and in compliance with AirExplore procedures;
• In economical efficient manner placing only those aircraft components, materials, tools and equipment orders which are in accordance with applicable regulations and AirExplore procedures;
• Based on the Head of the Logistics Department order perform the adding and/or removing the storage facilities at outer base LMS i.a.w. regulatory requirements;
• Based on the Head of the Logistics Department order checking the storage facilities at outer base LMS in order to be i.a.w. regulatory requirements and AirExplore standards and procedures;
• Ensures customs related provisions meet the Customs Offices´ requirements in particular locations where outer base LMS was added and/or removed;
• Receiving and releasing the aircraft components, materials, tools and equipment to/from the warehouse i.a.w. AirExplore procedures;
• Shipping the aircraft components, materials, tools and equipment to the outer base LMS i.a.w. particular State customs´ provisions and AirExplore internal procedures;
• Maintaining the registry of delivered and expended aircraft components and materials in OASES system;
• Based on the information received from Maintenance Department, maintaining the outer base warehouse registry of received and released aircraft components, materials, tools and equipment in OASES system;
• Verifying and checking the required documentation of aircraft components and materials delivered and stored into the warehouse i.a.w. regulatory and internal procedures requirements;
• Issuing the required documentation when aircraft components and materials are expended from warehouse in compliance with regulatory and internal procedures requirements;
• Monitoring the warehouse entries and escorting the persons who required the escorted access into the warehouse premises and protecting the warehouse premises against the access of the unauthorized persons;
• Monitoring and keeping the appropriate conditions for storage of aircraft components, materials, tools and equipment set by the manufacturer;
• Protects all stored aircraft components, materials, tools and equipment against the damages and deterioration;
• Perform his duties i.a.w. work schedule prepared by Head of the Logistics Department;
• Ensures company vehicles administered by Logistics Department are utilized in compliance with provisions of company vehicles policy;
• In collaboration with the Compliance Monitoring Department and according to the instructions given by Head of the Logistics Department participates in the role of the auditee in the auditing of Logistics Department;
• Additional duties and tasks may be assigned by the Head of the Logistics Department, as required;
• Ensures communication with contracted maintenance organization during performance of scheduled heavy maintenance activities (C-Check);
• Ensures contracted maintenance organization providing heavy maintenance activities (C-Check) are supplied with required materials and equipment;
• Verifying and approving the invoices related to purchased aircraft components, spare parts, materials, tools and equipment ordered by Logistics Department;
• Verifying and checking the tools (including calibrated tools) and equipment conditions;
• Maintaining the registry of utilized tools (including calibrated tools) and equipment in OASES system and based on the Head of the Logistics Department requirements to provide him the accurate information about their conditions;
• Based on the Maintenance Department requirements and instructions conduct the purchase arrangements of new tools (including calibrated tools) and equipment;
• Ensures all tools and equipment listed in the appropriate registry are disposed in compliance with internal procedures;
• Receiving the new and dispose the old and/or damaged tools and equipment from the corresponding registry;
• Ensures measuring instruments are calibrated;
• Ensures Fly Away and Based Kits are prepared and maintained in compliance with provisions of internal procedures;
• Administrates OASES system in relation with system utilization by Logistics Department, MCC and AMO;
• Perform internal OASES module (within the area of logistics objectives) trainings dedicated to staff of Logistics Department, MCC and AMO.
