The Account Manager/Trainer has two parts of his/her job in AD.

As a Trainer is responsible for: the development, maintenance and delivery of Air Dispatch CLC Training Courses. As an Account Manager is responsible for: managing the day to day customer interface with their assigned airlines. Ensure that airlines are provided with an accurate and punctual service by managing day to day staffing and shift allocation and ensuring that staff are properly trained to the airlines requirements. The account manager is also responsible for the updating of customer records and airlines documentation (CLC Airline Folder and FHP).

Reports to: CLC Unit Manager / CLC Training Manager

Direct reports: Duty managers and/or Load Controllers

Key Responsibilities as Trainer:

  • Delivery of Air Dispatch CLC training courses to the standards required by the Air Dispatch CLC Training Manager and the Air Dispatch CLC Training Manual
  • Ensuring that all training courses and course materials are maintained to the standards required by the Air Dispatch CLC Training Manual
  • Ensuring that Air Dispatch CLC remains compliant to the needs of the CLC Quality Process, its customer airlines, and the ISAGO process for courses for which the trainer is responsible for or delivers
  • Responsible for ensuring that the training records for courses for which the trainer has responsibility are to the standards required by the Air Dispatch CLC Training Manual
  • To ensure that the materials used for the training courses delivered by the trainer are current, valid and meet the standards required for the course

Key Responsibilities as Account Manager:

  • Production of weight & balance documentation for allocated airline as required
  • Ensuring that weight & balance documentation produced for their allotted airline is done in accordance with the requirements of the customer airline and the safety & quality procedures of Air Dispatch CLC
  • To liaise with customer airlines and their contractors as required to ensure that the information, records, and training requirements held by AD CLC are current and that AD CLC is working in accordance with them
  • To be responsible for managing the flow of information to and from the team allocated to them. This to include, written communication, team meetings, the Airline Folder, the Airline FHP, Check sheets
  • To analyse COR’s/GSR’s, and any other form of error, incident or safety report related to their allocated airline to ensure that required corrective action is taken and that where improvements can be made these are communicated to the necessary personnel
  • Provide regular performance reports to the airline and CLC management as required by the station manager
  • To carry out any reasonable request by an Air Dispatch CLC manager or supervisor in the course of their duties
  • To maintain currency in the duties they are rostered to undertake and ensure that staff members allocated to their airline also remain current
  • To read and acknowledge receipt of all communications issued regarding updates, changes and issues related to the duties undertaken
  • To ensure that all staff allocated to their airline are familiar with the requirements of the CLC Safety Management system and the requirements of the CLC Quality & Operations Manual

Skills and experience Requirement:

  • Minimum 12 months experience in ground handling operations or in load control in aviation
  • A good understanding of both Ground and Load Control Operations,theory and principles
  • Capable of delivering a good level of public speaking and ability to manage a team
  • Good analytic and communication skills.
  • The ability to maintain Quality records and manuals to the standard required by the CLC Quality & Operations Manual.
  • Completion of a formal trainer instruction course as an advantage
  • Willingness to travel frequently (interesting destinations)

  • Capable of working in a methodical and investigative fashion.
  • Willing to work extra hours at short notice in the event of a safety incident or other operational need.
  • Willing to travel between CLC´s offices or relocate to Ostrava
  • Fluent in Czech language and English.
