Job description, responsibilities and duties

Job Summary:
The position of Sr. Retail Execution Business Consultant will require an ambitious,
professional individual to provide expert advice to customers. The main role is to
analyze needs of the customers and to formulate a solution. It will be the responsibility of the Consultant to manage the client relationship effectively by learning their business processes, and based on the experience, formulate solutions to problems and pain points found in the operation that can be resolved by using the technology provided by Exceedra. The position requires the Consultant to think critically on how to solve
complex problems and communicate effectively to both internal and external
stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Analyze the customer business and understand their critical processes, pain
points and areas of opportunity to resolve using a solution from Exceedra
• Serve as the communication point for the functional teams to translate business
requirements into system configurations and data flow exchange set up.
• Serve as a Solutions and Implementations consultant well-versed in business
practices for Exceedra’s Retail Execution software in a fast-paced environment
• Analyze and document business requirements and high-level user stories for the
design and development of software enhancements based on “the current
customer business, their needs and their expected outcome of the
implementation of a latest generation Retail Execution and Sales solution.
• Analyze configuration with the objective of explaining to a customer why the
application behaves a certain way.
• Provide sufficient training to key users of the application in order to enable them
to be autonomous and run both testing cycles and live instances of the solution
• Create product presentations and training materials by using the standard
communication materials available and using any corporate guidelines for such
matters and conduct those trainings with customer users
• Provide timely updates to customers.
• Ensures all customer action requests are completed within schedule and
delivered satisfactorily to the client’s requirements.
• Support Pre-Sales initiatives alongside sales team

This position is not suitable for graduates, as we are looking for people experienced in the consulting area.

Personality requirements and skills

• Written and oral communication (English) – other languages (Portuguese, Spanish, French, German) desirable but not a must.
• Understand the methodology of IT software business, ideally specifics of FMCG processes
• Experience with documenting customer requirements with sufficient level of depth, creating workflow diagrams and being able to communicate such documents with internal resources in development or support
• Analytical thinking to understand business requirements well and propose technical solutions
• Ability to assertively discuss business requirements with the customers and internal teams
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as working effectively with the team
• Ability to manage time effectively, respond to customers in timely and appropriate fashion
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail execution /software consulting
