Job description, responsibilities and duties
* to guarantee the smooth running and reliability of the business’s IT environment (Keep the Lights On)
* the position is the highest level IT position in an international company
Main responsibilities:
* to lead the planning and implementation of IT projects from idea to completion, provide advice to senior management on IT topics
* to be a coordinator of different suppliers and outsourced IT technicians in different countries
* to be a Point of Contact for shareholder´s and senior management team
* negotiations with IT suppliers, participation in IT tenders (support for tendering department)
* worldwide coordinate on-time delivery of IT project
* responsibility for annual IT budget
* to be 1st line IT support in specific cases that require urgent attention
* to lead IT Service Management as well as Portfolio and Asset Management
* to be the point of escalation and final approver for IT issues and requests
* to be a leader of IT Project and IT Change Management
* to manage the relationship between IT and Real Estate in case of new offices openings, modification, and closures (worldwide)
* up to 20% of traveling (not in the pandemic situation) - especially when the company is opening new subsidiaries worldwide, responsibility for a final IT check before opening
