Job purpose:

  • Planning and providing of Transportation, Production planning
  • Achievement of agreed upon goals, initiatives and projects.

Main responsibilities:

  • Preparing the transport scheduling of products from service providers and insure delivery on time at the customer
  • Participating actively in the planning of orders – loading and transport organization
  • Confirming the transportation planning in the system
  • Adjusting daily the transportation schedule depending on the refused/new orders
  • Substituting other transport schedulers in case of absence
  • Daily monitoring the warehouse availability and monitoring/tracking all orders (received and processing ones)
  • Providing all necessary products for re-sale from other plants; fill the orders to be completed and monitors the deliveries
  • Accomplishing close cooperation between the Customer Service, Procurement and Finance Departments and support their respective processes
  • Responsible for the daily contacts with organizations related with the export of products
  • Monitoring and updating daily the performance of the transport schedule and service quality
  • Registering / sending complaints to service providers
  • Establish and issue Export / Import documents for the shipments
  • Look for / trigger alternative solutions when the delivery to customers is not expected on time

  • Implementing the detailed planning
  • Checking, confirming availability of product and confirm the sales orders in the computer system
  • Organizing and coordinating activities to insure availability of the right product on time and sufficient supply in regards to the demand
  • Stock count & stock accuracy
  • Participating actively in the daily planning of the sales, depending on the received orders, the warehouse inventory and the production capacities.
  • Participating actively in the elaboration of the weekly loading schedule and its daily update
  • On the basis of the planned demand, preparing the purchase requirements for the period forward, in alignment with the delivery lead-time
  • Organize the activities of stock management, production, transport at sub-contractors
  • Maintain close contact with hauliers and get regular updates for all delayed deliveries
  • Have and eye on tax events from country of shipment

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Relevant post school qualification or University degree

  • Experience in production planning & transport in an international environment

  • Manufacturing/industrial sector experience

  • Experience of working in an international company

  • English written and spoken (B2)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the many disciplines in the organization
  • Ability to work in a SMART fashion to deliver quick and effective decision making
  • A good working knowledge of operating systems such as SAP, DCF, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
