What will your responsibilities be?

• Responsibility: That tool suppliers build the tools according AD process & standards in time and part quality. Verification of stamping part design for feasibility in formability and GD&T.
• Support: Purchasing in reference of tech. quote review and tool supplier assessment. Costing in terms of tool concepts and blank evaluation. Sales in terms of tool cost break down in face to the customer (value for money). Program SDT for tool moves and tool tracking.
• Consult part designer to design feasible stamping parts based on Adient BBP tool concepts.
• Implement: Develop best practices in tool manufacturing which go into our AD specifications.
• Deliver: Tools are manufactured in time, in quality and launched in AD locations.
• Initiate / Coordiante visits or meetings to monitor suppliers, act according and report in the SDT, escalate where needed to the next level management to come back to track.

Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?

• Journeyman Tool and Die Maker, or equivalent work experience (at least 10 years)
• Min 5 years tool design experience (with CAD applications) in industrial stamping process
• Tool Method Design & Strip Layout know how (Visi or CAD programs)
• Experienced in Multi Step Simulation with Autoform
• Experienced in tooling building process steps from design to tool finishing
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Strong in use of MS (Excel / Power Point / Word and other) applications to manage your tasks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Must be comfortable working independently or on a team
