IT Architect – SAP Fiori

IT Architect- SAP Fiori, reports directly to Sr Manager-SAP Development, is responsible for UI5/Fiori applications development, and architecture activities on Enterprise systems including; SAP ECC and QAD, etc. This person works with the business team to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and acts as an expert technical resource for architecting and developing Fiori applications required for business. The successful candidate will be part of a global team of internal and external IT consultants to support the business team coveted for automation and SAP‘s new user experience.

Requires strong UI architecture, team player qualities, and a strong self-starter who can deliver consistently at a high-quality level. Strong business communications skills are a must.

Job description:
• Provide deep SAP Fiori technical and architecture expertise to project teams for helping to implement SAP standard Fiori User experience solutions for business.
• Responsible for architecting and developing enhancements and custom Fiori applications for business.
• Monitor Fiori development activities of Fiori consultants to ensure their deliverables and processes are aligned with Adient standards and policies
• Partner with functional and business teams for requirement gathering and application solutioning.
• Lead the identification of assets that can be re-used to drive consistency and cost containment.

Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited university with a Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant degree
• 7 to 9 years of total SAP professional experience with at least 5 years experience in UI5/Fiori design and development using SAP Web IDE
• Must have prior experience in architecting and developing SAP Fiori applications using development tools such as SAP UI5, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery
• Must have working knowledge and experience in implementing SAP’s Business solutions such as SAP ECC
• Prior ABAP working experience would be a plus
• Any experience in the SAP BUILD prototyping tool would be a plus
• Must be able to lead external consultants, yet have the ability to work independently
• Analytical, results-driven, and have a solution-oriented approach
• Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including verbal, written presentation, and listening
• Ability to handle multiple assignments
