For our Business Center in Bratislava (Slovakia) we are currently seeking to recruit a

IT HFM Technical Engineer

Participate as team member for the development, implementation, training and ongoing enhancement and support of a global consolidation and financial reporting system. The objective of this position is to provide a single, reliable system to meet the consolidation and financial reporting needs of our operating business units and corporate departments around the world.

This person mainly responsible for the administration of Financials Applications Technical Infrastructure of Oracle EPM Suite.

Technologies involved include

Oracle EPM Suite 11.2 (HFM, FDMEE, SmartView, and DRM)
Windows Server 2016/2019 Understanding
Oracle SQL Databases

Your responsibilities:

Establish Financial Application Suite that meets service and quality standards
Make improvement recommendations to keep pace with technological advancements and market conditions to ensure company maintains its competitive edge.
Support users of the Financial Systems, including provisioning and deprovisioning of users, with special emphasis around month end close.
Flexibility of shift hours including support/on-call for US business hours as needed.
Act as liaison between extended Finance community and IT organizations.
Provides financial systems application and technical support primarily for European region, as well as coverage for American and Asian regions
Define roadmap and architecture for financial applications
Execute projects including upgrades, server migrations, disaster recovery.
Maintain, support, and manage all assigned applications. This includes administration, tuning, production fixes, upgrades, patching.
Ensure all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision are followed.
Perform regular IT audit to discover areas of weaknesses and fortify them.
Manage relationship with external vendors / consulting partners as appropriate.
Manage preparation of test and production environments for the global enterprise deployment.
Help to ensure that application development standards are executed to meet internal guidelines and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.

Your qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Computer Science or related field)
Minimum of 2-5 years overall IT experience with a professional experience in Financial Systems and/or Architecture, developing, proactively monitoring and managing integrated business applications
Scripting experience (Batch, VB, PowerShell, Shell)
Experience working with Windows Servers (2012, 2016 and 2019)
Experience with Oracle Databases including SQL toolset use
Optional: Experience with Oracle EPM, mainly HFM, FDMEE, Smart View and DRM or with other financial applications a plus
Demonstrated technical competence with Financial Systems especially relating to Month End Close Processes.
Must have fluency in English Language, written and spoken.
Demonstrate excellent communication and troubleshooting skills, ability to communicate complex scenarios with both technical and nontechnical audiences
Aptitude for complex problem solving
Willingness to learn and work on various EPM Modules is a must
Prior experience supporting Production Critical Global Enterprise Applications
Experience with automation, task scheduling, batch jobs, file transfers
Optional: Familiarity with UNIX, Linux Operating Systems
Experience with Installation/Upgrade/Patching enterprise software
