Job description, responsibilities and duties
For our technical development center in Trenčín, we are currently seeking to recruit a
Design Engineer
Your responsibilities:
Development of seating and interior products according to customer requirements and Adient standards
Creation of 3D models in CATIA V5 (inc. Package and Kinematic studies), 2D drawings, BOMs and presentations
Carry out product construction from a cost and production point of view (inc. Manufacturing feasibility and Tolerance analysis)
Coordinate details with customers, suppliers and our manufacturing plants
Responsibility for release process in internal TC database
Requirements:
Degree in mechanical engineering
Minimum 3 years working experience in design (automotive is advantage)
Relevant work experience and skills in product design (CATIA V5 or NX)
Experience Team center 11 is advantage
Customer orientated approach
Fluent English
Good communication skills
Innovative thinking
Willingness to travel
