For our technical development center in Trenčín, we are currently seeking to recruit a

Senior Product Engineer – Power Drives

Job description:

• Development of seating and interior products according to customer requirements and Adient standards
• Package studies and design proposals 3D in CATIA V5, supervising BOMs and internal Team center 11 database
• Carry out product construction from a cost and production point of view
• Coordinate details with customers, suppliers and our manufacturing plants
• Responsibility for customer, supplier, internal plant communication
• Ability to lead a small team of design engineers

Power Drives Engineer also:

• Evaluates electrical seating drives and its application together with suppliers and the internal development teams.
• Confirms drive system and component capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties (incl NVH/Sound Quality)
• Develops electrical drives by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
• Supports the development of manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building, assembling and end-of-line testing of electrical drives and supplier electrical components; soliciting observations from operators.
• Assures product quality by designing electrical/NVH testing methods; testing finished products and system/NVH capabilities.
• Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
• Maintains product by complying with federal/state and company regulations.
• Maintains and co-develops end-of-line test equipment
• Completes projects by training and guiding quality technicians in plants
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Requirements:

• Degree in electrical engineering preferably with knowledge of NVH/Sound Quality
• Minimum 2 years working experience in automotive
• Relevant work experience and skills in product design (CATIA V5)
• Experience Team center 11 is advantage
• Customer orientated approach
• Fluent English
• Good communication skills
• Innovative thinking
