For our Business Center in Bratislava (Slovakia) we are currently seeking to recruit a

Payroll Country Lead

Your responsibilities:

•Lead the payroll operations in the Country
•Advise and drive payroll colleagues on the system, local regulations changes and hold training sessions as necessary
•Manage and develop the team ensuring flexibility of knowledge and job rotation within the department ensuring payroll ops continuity
•Ensure all employee information is continuously updated in the payroll system
•Ensure annual and monthly statutory reporting for authorities are submitted as per deadlines
•Lead and coordinate new project implementation of the function in the Country
•Manage annual tax declaration and internal and external audit with appropriate documentation
•Manage and maintains relationships with payroll provider for problems resolution through weekly/monthly meetings, monitor its performance
•Updates of payroll systems (tax groups, earnings, deduction etc.) in the Country as per law requirements
•Ensure standard processes are designed, documented, communicated, followed across all facilities and reviewed regularly
•Validate/perform and/or approve payroll related payments in line with monthly run for the country
•Provide support related to the payroll month end process to finance with GL, support finance on payroll reconciliations

•Very good knowledge of Slovak wage system
•Workday Knowledge advantage
•University degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
•Driver License B
