To support our locations in Europe we are currently seeking to recruit an
Automation Engineer
Description:
• Designs, develops, installs, and supports highly complex electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery including PLC hardware and software.
Responsibilities:
• Main mission: Support the EU Foam operations (8 plants) in automated systems and equipment projects
• Develop technical standards, make specifications, release BIC (best in class) procedures
• Equipment improvements
• Manage and implement projects, suppliers
• Technical support in plants (projects execution and troubleshooting)
• Reports to Manager manufacturing engineering
• Acts as an Production Robots Specialist
Qualifications:
• Engineer automation
• Electrical know how, programming
• Siemens Simatic Step 7 – TIA
• InTouch, database SQL, robotics (ABB, Fanuc)
• English as daily working language
• German is a plus
• Multicultural collaboration, empathy and open mind
• Desire to learn and teach (you will get a mentor at the start)
• As a part of your training, you will be assigned in Strasbourg (France) for 1 year
• Mobility through out Europe (2-5 days twice per month), flexibility
• Autonomy, responsibility
This position can be based in any of our locations within Europe.
Based on number of our foam plants in different countries, best fit would be a person from either France (Strasbourg), Slovakia (Lučenec), Poland (Żory) or Spain (Zaragoza).
