JOB DESCRIPTION
Would you like to work on the most fashionable projects in the biggest automotive center in Slovakia? We are looking for a colleague for
Design Engineer
Your responsibilities:
Carry out product definitions including BOM
Check customer requirements and draw up specifications
Design of parts with focus on feasibility, cost and assembly
Discussion of FEA results with FEA department and implementation of optimizations into design
Investigations regarding package, layout and kinematics
Coordinate with customers and suppliers (details)
Establish testing plans and take steps according to the testing results
Time scheduling of different areas (control)
Release drawings with approved CA and give them to the Release Coordinator in order to be copied and distributed
Make sure that documents do not leave Release Engineering without the adequate signed documents (CA/CN)
Apply continuous improvement practices to computer related issues to ensure increased productivity, investigating new hardware / software solutions
Requirements:
Technical degree in plastics/ mechanics/ automobile technics/ electronics or comparable qualification
Relevant previous design experience
Knowledge of Catia
Fluent knowledge of English language
Material knowledge/ production methods of plastic parts is a big advantage
Orientation on detail and process
Analytical thinking
