Supplier Advance Quality Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking to recruit a

Supplier Advance Quality Engineer

Main tasks/ responsibilities:

• Ensure suppliers achieve the required quality levels, capacity and timing for new program activities
• Supplier Advanced Quality Planning, Tooling Follow-up and launch support at suppliers for new program activities
• Initiate and manage Supplier AQP activities with suppliers in order to achieve Adient Program timing with Green PPAP in time
• Sign-off and approve Supplier PPAP submissions.
• Detailed Process Audit and capacity evaluation for critical supplier product launches
• Organize and join supplier kick off meeting before and after supplier selection
• Be part of the supplier sourcing team
• Organize and join supplier escalation process (MQR 1 + MQR 2)
• Be part of an international project team – to insure supplier product readiness in time
• Supplier system evaluation SAS and Supplier Development activities

The position can be based on Bratislava, Lucenec or Trencin location.

  Requirements:

• Engineering Degree – preferred Master
• Minimum 2+ year experience in a relevant Quality function, preferably within the automotive industry
• Experiences with customer and supplier quality
• Leadership skills - person needs to discuss on the level of a supplier plant manager
• Experiences in risk management and business approach
• 6 Sigma / statistical knowledge appreciated
• Product knowledge in plastic injection molding + metal + fabric and foam
• Willing to travel 3 – 4 days / week
• Good in writing technical documentation (visiting report)
• Good in reading Engineering drawing + tolerance specification
