For our Bratislava Business Center we are currently seeking to recruit a
Junior Accountant - Bank Accounting
Job description:
Daily tasks:
- bank statement posting
- clearing of outgoing payments with AP postings
- clearing of Treasury transfers
- inter-company cash pool transaction postings
- investigation of unallocated payments
- checking of closing balances SAP vs. bank statement
Month end Close tasks:
- finalize all postings in foreign currency to old posting period
- cash pool analysis
- reconciliation of items related to FX management & cash management
- posting of accrual entries
Other tasks:
- Bank reconciliations
- Cash pool reconciliations
- Cash pool interest calculation
- Set-up of GLs for new bank accounts and SAP configurations
- Tracking of open and closed bank accounts in BBC scope

Requirements:
- Financial education: Experience in accounting/financial position ideally for at least 1 year but also suitable for fresh graduates with relevant economic education/training
- English: Intermediate
- SAP: Basic transactions (advantage, not obligatory)
- Excel: Intermediate
- Good Time management skills and communication skills
- Analytical thinking
- Team player
