Job description, responsibilities and duties
For our Bratislava Business Center we are currently seeking to recruit a
VAT Specialist
For our Indirect Tax department.
You will be also responsible for:
Working on VAT related projects across EMEA region
Analyzing and implementing VAT related legislation changes
Maintaining/ Ensuring corrections of master data and transactional data
Assisting in maintaining a proper VAT logic and coding in the ERP systems across the EMEA
* Providing advice to the business regarding VAT related topic

Requirements for the employee
Candidates with education suit the position
Secondary with school-leaving examination
Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2)
Personality requirements and skills
To be successful in this role you should have following profile:
* Role suitable for Finance or Tax graduates with focus on Finance and/or Accounting
* Relevant experience in the area of indirect taxes is an advantage
* Knowledge of accounting principles and related procedures, good VAT knowledge
* Advanced level of spoken and written English is a must
* SAP knowledge is an advantage
* Be able to work ethically and with full integrity when making time sensitive or difficult decisions
* Be able to use your personal judgment and initiative to solve all kind of problems
* Team player with a positive 'can do’ attitude
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
