For Bratislava Business Center we are currently seeking to recruit a
Senior Tax Specialist with French language
for our EMEA Corporate Tax Department
Your responsibilities:
Coordinate & manage the full corporate income tax cycle for the legal entities covered by the EMEA Corporate Tax Team in Bratislava with primary focus on French language speaking region
Gathering financial information and preparation of local Corporate Income Tax calculations in accordance with legal requirements of respective countries
Ensure preparation and filing of corporate income tax returns in accordance with process descriptions
Support team in activities related to optimization of corporate income tax compliance processes
Handling of account reconciliations and monitoring of movements on corporate income tax accounts
Perform other activities falling under the responsibility of EMEA Corporate Tax Team
Perform US Tax Reporting for entities assigned to EMEA Corporate Tax Team
Support the team in initiatives related to improvement of interfaces with ERP & other

Requirements for the employee
Candidates with education suit the position
Secondary with school-leaving examination
Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2)
Personality requirements and skills
* At least 3 - 5 years Corporate Tax and accounting experience is required
* Fluent in English and French language is a must, other foreign language is an advantage
* Sound knowledge of accounting principles and related procedures
* Experienced in Corporate Income Tax legislation and with CIT main principles (transfer pricing rules, thin cap, cross-border transactions, tax grouping…)
* Work experience in Big 4 tax consultancy companies is an advantage
* Practical advanced experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
* Strong ability to cooperate with people of different levels inside/ outside the company and to interact with team to reach team goals and business objectives
* Strong ability to express information in a manner appropriate to different levels of people
* Strong ability to recognize, respond to customer expectations with sense of urgency and even increase expectations
* Strong ability to set goals in consistency with company objectives and to adapt plans to changing environment
