Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are the biggest automotive development center in Trenčín. We are currently looking for one more colleague for our newly built team of AMEs:
Advanced Manufacturing Engineer
Your responsibilities:
Process development and assembly sequencing (process flow chart) for new programs
Use industrial engineering methods to determine the assembly time (MTM)
Manufacture feasibility analysis (DFA/DFM) and PFMEA on new products
Plant and process layout for new products and plant launches (Autocad)
Support computer simulations of manufacturing operations
Perform cost analysis of product and process alternatives (investments and assembly time)
Write process specifications and make recommendations regarding ergonomic improvements
Write specifications for manufacturing equipment and make recommendations for equipment procurement
Simulate continuous improvement process in plants (KAIZEN, DO IT and Lean) with the objective of MEQ
Work with SD-Teams to complete product launches
Monitor program specific equipment through production start-up (industrialization)
Stimulate TPM in new projects
Monitor and audit manufacturing best practices and standards
Improvement strategies: Participate and/or lead activities for manufacturing footprint analysis, continuous improvement of new and/or ongoing manufacturing process and lean manufacturing implementation

Requirements for the employee
Candidates with education suit the position
Secondary with school-leaving examination
Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2)
Personality requirements and skills
* Degree in Engineering (mechanical or industrial) or equivalent qualification
* Min. 3 years experience as a Manufacturing or Industrial or Process Engineer including min. 1 year plant experience
* Preferably previous automotive experience
* Strong computer and manufacturing simulation skills
* Experience with plant Layout planning, process & Equipment selection, purchasing and installation, and tooling and fixtures
