Job description, responsibilities and duties

For newly created manufacturing company in Nitra, we are looking for the Site Manager/Supervisor. The company is world class manufacturer of metal pressings and welded assemblies for the automotive market.

This person will manage the site and its employees to ensure the planning and delivery of production to satisfy customer requirements including steel requirement, human resources, health and safety, capacity, efficiency and utilization of all relevant equipment on site whilst maintaining a high level of operational procedures relating to company´s quality accreditations.

Main responsibilities:
- Ensure an agreed stock level in despatch is achieved and maintained, to protect customer supply
- To monitor overall site efficiency
- To monitor overall site Labour
- To monitor specific presses for utilization, availability and efficiency
- Team meetings to be held each morning to discuss yesterday’s concerns, generate action plans, monitor the progress of the plans and ensure the day’s planned production is achievable.
- Update capacity plans regularly to ensure you have the correct working hours and staffing levels.
- Ensure the use of and monitor the TMR and MRF systems (Tooling Maintenance Request Form and Maintenance Request Form) to ensure repairs are on track to meet production planning.
- To monitor raw material / bought out parts
- To monitor internal and external ppm figures (quality reworked, scrapped/quality produced)
- To monitor timekeeping, absenteeism and staff turnover
- Maintain training matrixes

To work with the project team to deliver new projects from a production aspect with regards to Lean Manufacturing, Logistics, Purchasing, Team building, Initial Samples support and structured feedback to the project team and senior Managers to ensure a smooth and robust introduction into volume product supply.

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- Previous experiences as a manufacturing leader/supervisor
- Experienced in managing risk assessments, people management, health & safety standards, strong communication skills, manufacturing planning
- Take initiative, customer oriented, engagement of team
- Demonstrable Experience in the application of a logical approach to Problem Solving
- English language Level B2,
- Flexible, Self-Motivated & Confident Team Player with integrity and discipline. Responsibility and independency
