Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Program Quality Engineer is responsible for the planning, execution and monitoring of all quality related activities in the appointed programs to achieve customer requirements and production part approval.
You will be responsible for:

- Implementation of quality methods in the project
- Support RFQ phase (feasibility, quality concepts, requirements and manning)
- Support project Kick-off meetings
- Establish QM-plan in line with Program customer requirements
- Support feasibility and design reviews
- Support Design FMEA activities and support establishing of the P-FMEA by the affected manufacturing facilities
- Approve pre-production (all build prior to TT or equivalent) parts and paperwork prior to shipment
- Monitor program PPAP planning and tracking activities
- Conduct /support Program Phased Process Audits (for example VDA6.3)
- Support customer escalation, project reviews, PPAP reviews, Launch Readiness, process audits, sourcing audits
- Responsible for Customer Master Buck and Cubing events, in conjunction with plant quality and lead engineers
- Support problem solving activities and analysis as required
- Support SQA with planning, execution and tracking of APQP/PPAP with all project related suppliers
- Support SQA for critical supplier Launch Readiness Reviews and capacity verification runs (SPR, R@R, 2T)
- Ensure SQA activities are in line with customer specific requirements (APQP/PPAP)

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- Qualified to engineering degree level or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, of which 3 years in a quality related position in a multinational environment
- Extensive knowledge of advanced quality planning tools (including FMEA, APQP, PPAP, VDA…) and of customer specific requirements.
- Good working knowledge of quality management systems and audits (ISO9001, IATF16949, VDA6.3…)
- Experience in analysis (root cause analyse, 5 why, PPS )
