Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for Continuous Improvement Manager in Logistics Area.

Responsible to drive, develop and evaluate current quality and efficiency standards within the Operational and Functional areas of the business, in order to maintain and improve Operational Excellence, Quality and Health, Safety and Environment.

Main responsibilities:

• Champion and drive lean business excellence to embed Continuous Improvement into the business
• Promote a positive Health and Safety and Continuous Improvement Culture
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and deliver CI Projects end to end with quantifiable benefits
• Deliver CI Champion workshop training and facilitate CI Champion Projects
• Ensure all CI Projects are embedded and sustained
• Conduct a minimum of 3 OpEx Assessments per week and as required to provide coverage across responsible area – travel and overnight stays will be required
• OpEx Assessments to be an accurate reflection of business required standards of how the Store / Function is performing operationally
• Work closely with Stores personnel, CREs and CRMs and Functional Managers to ensure buy-in and recommended action plans are clear to drive improved standards
• Ensure all Risk Assessments within responsible area are up to date and relevant
• Capable of accident / incident investigation if required
• Ability to apply lean tools such as Root Cause Analysis, Process Mapping, Task Analysis to solve business issues and non-conformance
• Expertise to apply 5S standards to the workplace to create Centres of Excellence
• Conduct Vendor Evaluations as required to ensure quality compliance
• Support Head of Continuous Improvement on Project execution and ISO Audits as required
• Strong Analytical skills
• Intellectually strong with demonstrable problem solving skills
• Possesses a Driven Leadership style with a resilience to overcome business issues
• Superior interpersonal and influencing skills, together with a persuasive communication style
• Advanced presentation skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

- 3 years experiences on similar position
- knowledge of logistics processes (inbound, warehouse, outbound)
- SAP (purchasing, logistics)
